Stephen Moylan
Stephen Moylan is a technical arts worker with many years of experience in the Australian theatre industry. He has worked with a wide range of artists, from emerging to established, and has worked on productions at major festivals and venues across the country.
Career highlights include Production Managing the Melbourne Writers' Festival in 2024, working on the Melbourne International Comedy Festival, Henson Alternative's "Puppet Up! Uncensored" Australian tour, and the development of new Australian works such as Cloudstreet - the Opera and The Dressmaker: A Musical Adaptation. He was also fortunate enough to be photographed and included in a collection of backstage portraits by Alan Moyle from the 2024 MICF season of Ali McGregor's Late-Nite Variety-Nite Night entitled A Variety Of Late-Nite Variety-Nite Night Portraits. (Note: There may still be a few available here for sale, but the fact of being included in a book of iconic and beautiful humans feels such a privilege to me and is a hard and real record of a small part of the work I enjoy so so much. It's even in the Victorian Performing Arts Collection at the Arts Centre!!! Anyway...)
Stephen is passionate about facilitating effective communication, creating healthy work environments, supporting the next generation of theatre makers and arts workers, and brilliant audience experiences.
