Carribean Steel Drum Performance / Workshop gives participants a brief history of the Steel Drums and information on the making of them. This fun and interactive workshop will have participants wrapped in the atmosphere of the Caribbean, through the magical sounds of the Steel Drums.

The Australian Academy of Steel Drums' Carribean Steel Drum Performance / Workshop is designed for kids too, and can come out to schools as part of the Adelaide Fringe's YEP program for schools. LinkAdelaide Podcast (click here): Alvin Rostant is a steel drummer with years of experience playing steel drums around Australia. In 2012, he is part of Queensland's Banana Joe, and in a group coming to Adelaide to showcase and introduce the steel drum to school students in workshops and performances during the Adelaide Fringe.
